Ingredients:-
- 4-5 cups of frozen corn (large kernels are preferred)
- 1 large red onion or 2 medium sized red onion
- Green chillies according to your preference
- 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Cilantro for garnish
- For tempering – 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dhal, 1-2 sprigs of curry leaves
Process:-
- In a pan dry roast tempering ingredients
- Then add finely chopped onions and green chilies
- Add salt and turmeric and 1 or 2 tbsp of water – saute for 4-5 mins
- Then add frozen corn and cook for another 7-8 mins with the lid on. Add water if needed
- Once you switch of the flame add lemon juice and garnish with finely chopped cilantro leaves.
