Ingredients:-
- Wash and slit the karela in the center (dont spilt it)
- 4 tbsp kala channa besan
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander-cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- Chilli powder to taste
- Salt to taste
Process:-
- In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients
- Then fill up the karela’s
- In a microwavable plate transfer all the stuffed karela’s, cover it with a microwavable lid and microwave it for 7-8 mins. This process helps in the cooking process and also keeps the karela moist
- Transfer the microwaved karela to a pan, cover it with a lid and keep cooking on low flame for almost 20 mins. Keep changing the position of the karela’s every few minutes.
Enjoy as a side dish with roti or brown rice.
