Oil Free Gluten free Vegan Sweet Potatoes Brownies

Ingredients:-

  • 1 medium sized regular sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 purple sweet potatoe
  • 2 tbsp nut or seed butter
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup or 1 cup of date sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup of oat flour or any other gluten free flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts (optional – I skipped it this time)

Process:-

  • Bake or steam the sweet potatoes, peel the skin and mash it
  • To the mashed sweet potatoes add the rest of the ingredients and mix to incorporate all the ingredients into a firm dough
  • Transfer to a baking pan add additional chopped nuts if your prefer
  • Baked at 350F for almost 30-40mins
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into slices
