Ingredients:-
- 1 medium sized bottle gourd/laukhi – deskinned and chopped in large chunks
- 1 packet frozen lima beans
- 1 cup of channa dhal
- Red chillies according to your preference
- 1.5 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- salt to taste
- Turmeric
- For tempering – mustard seeds, curry leaves, spilt urad dhal and hing
Process:-
- Cut veggies and set aside
- Soak channa dhal, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies in hot water for at least 15 mins. Then blend with water to make the masala.
- In a pan dry roast tempering ingredients
- Then add veggies, salt, turmeric, hing, and water and cook for 3-4 mins
- Then add ground masala and keep cooking it in a low flame till all the water evaporates and the masala ingredients sticks to the veggies.
Enjoy with plant based yogurt rice, roti or just as a snack.
