Ingredients:-
- 2 cups of old fashioned oats (can be increased according to your preference)
- 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup of chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1 cup of flax seeds
- 1/2 cup of chia seeds
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
- 10-15 mejdool dates
- 1/2 cup of black raisins
- 2 tbsp seed or nut butter (optional)
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1- 2 tbsp of cacao powder
Process:-
- Roast oats, nuts, seeds separately and set aside
- In a food processor chop the dates and raisins without any water
- In a large mix all the ingredients to incorporate all the ingredients
- Once mixed flatten it on a baking tray with parchment paper (I spread it on a silicon baking sheet). I used a flat bottomed bowl to flatten the dough. Keep dipping the flat side of the bowl in water before flattening the dough
- Once completely flattened cut into desired shape and bake at 350F for about 15-20 mins. I baked it for about 18 mins
- Let is cool before separating it out
Great as a snack while travelling or as a quick breakfast bar or anytime snack
