Ingredients:-
- 3 cups of mejdool dates
- 2 cups of nuts of your choice (i have added almonds, pecans, pista, cashew, walnuts)
- 1 – 2 tbsp dry roasted poppy seeds
- 1 – 2 tsp cardamon powder
- 1-2 tsp coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp crushed rose petals
Process:-
- In a food processor coarsely chops all the nuts and keep aside
- Dry roast poppy seeds and keep aside
- Same food processor chop dates to almost a dough like consistency
- Then add in chopped nuts, poppy seeds and cardamom powder and pulse till all the ingredients get incorporated.
- Transfer the ingredients onto a flat surface and roll to form a log and then roll in unsweetened coconut flakes and edible rose petals.
- You can roll the log in a variety of toppings like poppy seeds, or pista powder, cacao powder
