Kale sabzi

Ingredients:-

  • 3-4 small sized red onions (chopped)
  • 10-12 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • Green chillies according to your preference
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp spilt urad dhal
  • 1 bunch of organic kale chopped with the steams chopped separately
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Process:-

  • Chop all the veggies

In a pan, dry roast tempering ingredients (mustard seeds, spilt urad dhal, curry leaves).

Then add chopped onion, garlic, green chillies as shown below. Add salt according to your preference.

Once the onions, garlic and green chilies are sautéed, then add chopped kale and kale stems. Add turmeric powder and 1/2 cup of water

Cook for 4-5 mins with the lid on and then another 1-2 mins without the lid on.

Enjoy this sabzi with Plant based Yogurt rice, Roti or just as a side dish.
